SSD Tweaker allows you to change the following system settings: use large system cache, use NTFS memory, disable 8.3 file names, disable file dating, disable boot trace, disable Windows Indexing Service, disable System Restore service, disable Disk Defragmentation, disable DIPM (Device Initiated Power Management) and others.
SSD Tweaker also allows you to check and set the TRIM status of an SSD in Windows 7 and 8. TRIM is a command that tells the SSD which blocks of data are no longer in use and can be erased. This helps maintain high data write speeds on the SSD and extend its lifespan.
SSD Tweaker also has a TRIM optimization feature that allows you to run the TRIM command on a schedule or on demand. This can be useful in cases where the operating system does not support TRIM or does not send it frequently enough.
