Modulators are the process of changing granulator parameters or effects based on different modulation sources. Portal allows you to easily modulate your sounds using various modulators such as LFOs, conversion converters (ADSRs), step sequences and others. You can also use the input signal as a modulation source to create dynamic and reactive effects.
Effects are the process of applying additional processing to the audio signal after the granulator. Portal allows you to easily add effects to your sounds using two processors in the series, each with its own input/output level and dry/wet mixing. Each processor can choose from seven effects modules: Bit Reducer, Chorus, Modulated Delay, Distortion, Filter, Phaser, Reverb, and Delay.
Frontend is the process of managing all the functions of a plugin using a graphical user interface. Portal has a beautiful and intuitive interface, which consists of two pages: Main and Advanced. On the main page you can control two macro controllers, which can be assigned to any granulator or effects parameters, and also switch the playback direction to the opposite direction. On the advanced page you can configure all parameters of the granulator, modulators and effects, as well as view a preview of each monitor in your system.
