Bagas31: Line 6 Metallurgy is a collection of amp and effects plugins created specifically for guitarists who want to quickly and easily access modern versions of classic and modern metal tones, as well as create their own original tones. The collection includes three plugins: Modern, Thrash and Doom, which are also available individually. Line 6 Metallurgy plugins are based on amp and effects models from the award-winning HX® family of products.
Each Line 6 Metallurgy plug-in contains four amp types that can be paired with any of eight cabinet types. Two microphones can be selected from a virtual “cabinet” of eight microphone types, and can be combined with a stereo room microphone. You can also substitute up to two-way impulse responses (IR) in place of the factory microphones. All microphones can be positioned differently, and the 4-band parametric EQ allows you to further customize the tone of the cabinet.

Each Line 6 Metallurgy plugin also offers four preamp and three postamp effects, including polyphonic pitch shifting. A noise gate and chromatic tuner are also provided. Amps, cabinets and effects look just like they would in the analog world thanks to a photorealistic plug-in interface, making it fun and easy to customize presets to suit your style or create new rigs.
In addition to being used as VST3, AU or AAX plugins in any DAW, the Modern, Thrash and Doom plugins also function as standalone applications, making the Line 6 Metallurgy collection one of the most versatile tone creation tools available.
