- Defect and Stress Prediction – ESI ProCAST allows you to accurately predict and quantify casting defects such as porosity, oxidation, cold joints, underfills, etc. It also allows you to monitor residual stresses in the process and predict subsequent deformations that lead to dimensional deviations and reduced tool or mold life.
- Optimize quality and properties – ESI ProCAST allows you to determine the optimal process parameters to achieve the desired quality and properties of parts. It also predicts the microstructure, grain structure and mechanical properties that are needed to improve component life.
