Bagas31: Cutting Optimization Pro is a program for obtaining optimal cutting plans for one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) parts. The program can be used to cut rectangular sheets of glass, wood, metal, plastic, paper or any other material used in industry. Cutting Optimization Pro can also be used to cut linear parts such as bars, pipes, profiles, extrusions, boards and other linear materials.
Here is a brief description of the main functions of the program:
- Optimization based on the guillotine principle. The cuts are made from one side to the other of the material. This feature is very useful for cutting glass, wood and other materials.
- Optimization based on the principle of nesting. The cutting tool can follow the shape of the material. This is necessary if you have a complex laser or flame cutting machine.

- Multi-stage optimization based on the guillotine principle. All cuts in one stage are perpendicular to the cuts in the previous stage. The user can set the number of stages and cutting direction for the first stage.
- Any number of parts in stock and in demand. There is virtually no limit to the number of parts you want to optimize.
- Any measurement metric. The data entry method is general. You don’t have to specify a metric. Simply select a metric in your mind and enter all data using that metric.
- Fractional input. You can enter the data as 100.5 or 100 1/2.
- Adjustable cutting tool thickness. To cut glass with a diamond, the thickness of the cutting tool is 0, but to cut wood and metal you need a saw with a larger thickness.
- Adjustable optimization level. You can specify how many cutting plans must be generated before a solution is output. If you don’t have much time and don’t have a good computer, you can choose a low optimization level.
Cutting Optimization Pro is an efficient and simple program for obtaining optimal cutting plans for 1D and 2D parts. It is compatible with Windows 11/10/8/7/Vista/XP (32-bit and 64-bit versions).
