Bagas31: AutoRuns is a free and powerful program for monitoring and managing the automatic loading of various applications, services and components that start when you boot or log into the Windows operating system. It shows you which programs are configured to run during system boot or logon, and when you launch various built-in Windows applications such as Internet Explorer, Explorer, and media players. View properties and processes of executable files. To view the properties of an executable file that is set to run automatically, select it and use the Properties menu item or toolbar button. If Process Explorer is running and there is an active process running the selected image, then the Process Explorer menu item on the Entry menu will open the process properties dialog box for the process running the selected image.
Navigate to the location of the startup configuration or image. Navigate to the registry or file system location displayed or configured for the startup item by selecting the item and using the Go to Entry menu item or toolbar button and navigate to the startup image location.
Disable or remove startup items. To disable an AutoPlay item, uncheck its checkbox. To remove an autorun configuration item, use the Remove menu item or toolbar button.
Filtering and scanning options. The Options menu includes several display filtering options, such as showing only non-Windows entries, as well as access to the Scan Options dialog box, from which you can enable signature verification and hash and file sending to Virus Total. Select entries from the User menu to view startup images for different user accounts.
