- Original Tape Banks: Arturia Mellotron contains 65 original tape banks from different Mellotron models such as MKI, MKII, M300 and M400. You can select and mix sounds from three tracks on each tape, and import your own samples.

- Simulation Parameters and Modulations: Arturia Mellotron allows you to adjust various simulation parameters such as flutter, tape saturation, mechanical noise, noise level and others. You can also use velocity and aftertouch to control flutter and volume.
- Effects Pedal Board: The Arturia Mellotron offers you four slots with a choice of 10 different effects such as chorus, flanger, delay, reverb and more. You can also use an amp simulator (Fender Twin or Leslie) and ambient room simulator to create different soundscapes.
- Loading and recording sounds: Arturia Mellotron allows you to load and record sounds from different sources. You can download sounds from the Internet or from other Arturia programs. You can also record your own sounds from the microphone or line-in.
