Bagas31: FlightGear Flight Simulator is an open source flight simulator. It supports various popular platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.) and is developed by volunteers from all over the world. The source code for the entire project is available and licensed under the GNU General Public License.
FlightGear Flight Simulator has the following features:
- Realistic and detailed world – the simulator has a seamless, continuous ellipsoidal world available for exploration. Our terrain is based on SRTM 90m data and is very detailed. There are over 20,000 airports you can visit around the world. You can download 10×10 degree chunks of the world, run the terrasync utility to get the scenario while flying (as needed), or purchase the entire world on 3 DVDs.
